Venus in the 12th for me. It's also conjunct my Saturn, which sounds like a bad thing.

Venus in Scorpio
Venus in Scorpio people attract others with their intensity and willingness to commit. They have a strong and concentrated manner which suggests their feelings run deep. Their actions in love tend to promise deep commitment and sexual pleasure, even if they are not telling you this directly. Their appeal lies in their focus on you, and their dedication. Venus in Scorpio seems fearless when it comes to intimacy. Potential lovers get the feeling that Venus in Scorpio will never stray, that they are intensely loyal to the one they love. They possess you, and somehow make it seem attractive to be possessed.
Venus in Scorpio men and women give you their complete attention. These people are very focused on their partners. Depending on your personality, you may find this unnerving or entirely flattering. They have a strong need to control their partner, although this won't be immediately apparent, and they may not ever admit to this. Their body-and-soul love and commitment can be so intense that it eclipses fun and makes loving them a very heavy experience. Their emotion and intensity may seem overdone to those looking for a more lighthearted relationship. These people take things to extremes, and can be very provocative. Although they want to explore all of your nooks and crannies, they won't always be forthcoming with their own. When you've upset these lovers, you'll know it. Depending on the moment, Venus in Scorpio will shoot you one of the most piercing glares around, or totally blow up. Whichever style they choose, a slighted Scorpio lover is not a pretty sight. These people can be jealous of all of your attachments, but few will admit it. They're not afraid of being underhanded in matters of the heart, and they are experts at cutting through all the fluff and seeing you for what you are. Still, you may find their conclusions about you seem skewed and mistrustful.
Pleasing Venus in Scorpio involves demonstrating your complete commitment and loyalty to them. Appreciate their guts when it comes to love and intimacy -- they're proud of their courage in these matters. If you can, and they're deserving, relinquish some of the control in the relationship. Let them feel they own you, without taking it to extremes. Remember, though, that some Venus in Scorpio lovers can and will take advantage of you on a subtle level, if only to keep you all to themselves. Let them have their secrets and their silences.

Venus in the 8th House
*You crave very intense, deep, emotional relationships, and would even prefer a stormy, tumultuous relationship to one which is smooth but lacking vitality and passion. You love wholeheartedly and expect all-consuming, total devotion and attention from your partner. Casual, light relationships hold no appeal for you.
+You don't care much for the superficial. You appreciate getting past the surface and down to the heart--the bare bones of the matter. This could make you a very shrewd and discriminating business person. You value passion in a relationship.
Venus in the 9th House
*You are attracted to foreigners, exotic places, traveling, and to people who can expand your horizons, teach you something, or show you places and worlds you have never experienced before. Sharing a philosophy or ideal with your love partner is important to you.
Also, you feel a love and kinship for people everywhere, not only with your own family, nationality, or group. Finding similarities and making links between people from differing backgrounds or with different perspectives is a gift of yours.

You want to contribute something positive and loving to the world at large and you want to be recognized for your beauty, artistic gifts, or loving generosity. Venus in the 12th House
*You often hide your affection, or find your feelings difficult to express or get across to the person you love. Being openly affectionate and trusting often doesn't seem safe to you. You may feel your love won't be appreciated or reciprocated. You may get involved in secret love affairs or fall in love with a person who is quite unavailable to you. Love and sacrifice often seem to go hand in hand for you - having to give something up to be with the one you love, or having to relinquish some person or some aspect of an important love relationship.

Venus conjunct Saturn
On a personal level, these people hold back free expression of their feelings, especially with regard to expressions of love. Mind you, they are masters of compromise, duty, and responsibility to their mates, and it is through this dedication that they do in fact express their love. Often, there is some form of deprivation in the childhood, associated with either mother or father, or both. Most commonly, the child absorbs something from the parents' relationship that results in a deep sense of obligation towards the mate and emotional reserve. Fear of letting go, enjoying the moment, and expressing love openly is strong. Although this aspect in classical astrology is associated with a delayed marriage or loneliness, I see it much more frequently in the charts of people who do indeed "partner", often early, and who stick to the relationship through thick and thin. Often, they are lonely even though they are partnered. Commonly as well, they bend to a demanding partner much of their lives. There is fear associated with love, and many people with this position struggle with a lack of confidence. One of their greatest fears is rejection. Another reason why they might remain loyal to a challenging marriage can be a fear of letting down family and of what he or she feels would be a blow to the reputation. Sometimes, material concerns are connected with relationships. Some stick to relationships because they give them a sense of material security. Self-sacrifice is extremely common with this position. However, even though they crave more than anything to be loved unconditionally, their conviction that they won't get that kind of love keeps them from really trying to find it. With Saturn, there is a simultaneous fear of failure and fear of success that keeps people from feeling free or brave enough to go after what they truly want.
There can be a somewhat detached manner, and many people with this aspect (especially men) can come across as skeptical, matter-of-fact, and even superficial on a social level. They are masters at protecting their feelings, and do whatever they can to avoid letting others know of their vulnerabilities. Of course, this kind of defense mechanism further prevents them from finding happiness in love. It is so very hard for them to let down their defenses. They'll need to really know where they stand with you before they can feel at least somewhat safe. Negative expectations in love must be handled in order to begin work on handling this aspect. The good news with Saturn is that its energy is handled better with time and maturity. These people should make a conscious effort to evaluate their behavior. If they admit to themselves that they do in fact want and need to be loved by a partner, they can work on slowly dropping their defenses. For example, keeping loved ones at arm's length and pretending that you are just fine on your own isn't going to encourage intimacy. Jumping to negative conclusions or withdrawing emotionally when an expression of warmth is not received exactly as you intended is not going to help either. It's also a good idea to examine the choice of partners. There can be an unconscious attraction to people who love you for all the wrong reasons--for superficial or material reasons. Maintaining "business-like" love relationships somehow keeps people with these aspects feeling safe, but they unfortunately perpetuate a deep feeling of loneliness and unworthiness.
With the conjunction, and especially with supporting aspects from other planets, these people have every opportunity to advance in their chosen career. Business sense is strong, especially in the areas of finance and the arts. Commitment, whether to a pet project, a job, a business, or a person, is characteristic.
Alternate, short interpretations: *Intimacy does not come easily to you and you may appear cold or unfeeling to others due to your emotional reserve and caution. Perhaps due to painful relationships and separations in your early life, you do not trust others very easily and it takes a long time to take down all of your barriers and defenses. You may feel that you have few friends or people that really care about you. You need to learn to value and love yourself more and to express your appreciation for others more openly.
#You are reserved. You don't jump into a spiritual practice any more than you jump into a love relationship. You may do best with a spiritual teacher who is much older or younger than yourself. You accept endings as a necessary part of life.
Some Famous People with Venus conjunct Saturn: Hank Aaron, Ian Scott Anderson, Ray Bradbury, Edgar Cayce, Richard Chamberlain, Bill Gates, Steffi Graf, Lena Horne, Ashley Judd, Julianne Moore, Kim Novak, Yoko Ono, James Spader, Gloria Steinem, Donald Trump.

Re: In which house does your Scorpio Venus live?
Sat, October 21, 2006 - 5:36 PMI also have venus in scorpio in the 7th, it's true that venus in scorpio is in the sign of it's fall since venus is ruler of Taurus which is in opposition scorpio, but on the other hand the 7th house is the natural house of Libra which is also a venus ruled house, therefore venus in the 7th house is in it's natural house (the house of relationship) but just in the sign of it's fall.
I Have the north node and Neptune conjunct venus in the 7th. -

Re: In which house does your Scorpio Venus live?
Mon, May 22, 2006 - 1:16 PMHi, I'm a newbie, but kinda got into this a little when my good friend from Fiji visited for a week. She kinda turned me on to it although I'm not too sure I understand all of this. I followed the link another person offered and came up with Venus in the 6th House twice??
Sun in Sagittarius, Moon in Leo * Ascendant in Taurus, Venus in the Sixth House * Moon in the Fourth House * Venus in the Sixth House * Venus Opposition Ascendant * Neptune Opposition Ascendant * Sun in the Eighth House * Saturn in the Tenth House
I'm not sure how that is. I do know that aside from the above, my Mercury is in Capricorn and my Venus is in Scorpio. Aside, from the turbulent, emotional sides of having Venus in Scorpio, I am assuming that the rest of my placements will somehow allow me a restful, peaceful life sometime in the future??? LOL

Re: In which house does your Scorpio Venus live?
Sat, July 8, 2006 - 3:12 PMMy Scorpio Venus is in 6th and my birthchart indicates a Stellium in Sixth as almost all the planetary activity in my chart is in the sixth house including the Sun, Mars and Venus in Scorpio. My moon is Virgo in the fifth but the sixth house is supposed to be the Virgo house so i suppose that makes me very Scorpion, very Virgoan or very confused!!! -
-
Re: In which house does your Scorpio Venus live?
Sat, October 21, 2006 - 6:01 PMThe house is where the planetary energies plays itself out. The sixth house rules things like work, (not your career as such as thats a 10th house issue) but the mundane aspects of working, health, small animals and even servants. So you are very much a scorpio but its scorpio playing in the sixth house. Mars was Scorpio's original ruler until Pluto was discovered, and you also have Mars in your sixth house, so look to Pluto in it's sign and house to see how it links up to the sixth, and the planets in the sixth
I'd also say venus in the 6th is someone who actually loves to clean their home, should have a career in the field of health beauty or fitness, and often falls in love with co-workers. Venus in the 6th feels compelled to put their creative talents to practical use.
Mars in the 6th would take great pride in his job and be very detailed and perfectionistic about it too. And should be careful about aggression at work. Mars here would also make a great fighter on behalf of workers rights.
Of course I dont know what aspects mars and venus makes to other planets which also have to be considered as those aspects might modify the above impressions.

Re: In which house does your Scorpio Venus live?
Sat, November 25, 2006 - 2:29 AMI have venus and neptune in the first house. I find it hard to believe that I am narcissistic as that implies to me that I love myself and not one else. I love how I look and work hard at maintaining myself but am not into make up or beauty treatments or superficial beauty aids. I like to keep healthy and and fit but love my sons more than I love myself -

Re: In which house does your Scorpio Venus live?
Sat, November 25, 2006 - 2:00 PMthe first house of the chart indicates not only the body, or the head, but how we identify ourselves. venus in the first house can mean that you identify with venusian themes = beauty, harmony, connectedness. venus in scorpio is very passionate and loves to deeply connect with others. venus with neptune is highly idealistic. i bet you are very idealistic regarding relationships and beauty, very passionate and artistic. -

Re: In which house does your Scorpio Venus live?
Wed, December 6, 2006 - 10:56 AMooo...i love the specificity of all these tribes--never thought to check for this one before now! hi, all! my scorpio venus lives in my 11th house, and seems to be acting up a bit these days. of course, today's also my bday, and i've been hearing as of late that the time leading up to one's d.o.b. tends to be fraught with a little tension. -

Wed, December 6, 2006 - 12:42 PMps ~ oops! sorry 'bout that little spot of dyslexia there.....
& yes, the 2 weeks leading up to your b-day are often referred to as the "mop up period" ~ where you deal with the odds & ends that you put off for the end ~ but your solar return chart goes into effect, all shiny & new, the moment of your solar return (which doesn't always land on your b-day ~ you can check at www.astro.com)

you will if you will it and utilize the (presumed) placement of venus in your 1st house. Might I recommend that you also utilize the placement of the Sun in your 12th unless you want to upset more people than just your fiend and yourself.
