I don't know many people with this Venus placement that enjoys dating for datings sake.
the ultimate goal after all is to find "the one" i go back and forth of hating it and knowing that
its a necessary evil. i guess what i'm asking is how has dating been for you the pros and
cons and are we ( venus in scorpio types) being unrealistic in holding out hope for that
"soulmate" that gets our intense dark mysterious fearless will, will sacrifice everything in
the name of "love" nature.

Sun, June 8, 2008 - 7:25 PMI don't know if it is a Venus in Scorp. characteristic (my venus is in capricorn, although I have scorpio ascendant), but I have never ever liked dating and can't say that I really did date once. I am just very uncomfortable with the idea, I find it hard to be myself with someone I barely know. The whole idea is weird to me. Date somebody to find out if you like them? For me, it should be the other way around...date somebody because you like them.

what works for me is dating more than one person at a time to draw some of the intensity
away from the guy that i'm really into. its kinda a self protection deal so i'm not totally losing
my mind of "said guy". i HATE that vunerable feeling when a guy has got me Wide Open!
